Not sure wht you mean by "reseting" the keypad code. You will need the code that came with the vehicle to I guess reset it. The only resetting I know of is erasing the personal code you put into it. If this is the case you need to first put in the main code (the one that came with the vehicle). Then pressthe 1/2 within 5 seconds. Press and hold the 1/2 for 2 seconds and your doors should lock and then unluck. that will let you know the personal code was erased. If you don't have the code that came with the car, I believe (not 100% sure) that it is in your trunk on the hinge somewhere on the trunk lid. I know it's in the trunk so if not there look around for a sticker with what looks like could be the code. I don't know if this helped you but I hope it did and good luck.

u must have the old key pad code to reset the a new code, the code for the keypad is on a paper tag located on the keyless entry module.
