My starter works but when i turn the key it does not turn over. i replaced ignition switch and tumbler on steering wheel and still nothing

Did you check the starter motor relay ? Do you know what a relay is ? The starter relay is in the power distribution center , under hood fuse / relay box . Find the relay an pull it out of box. look on the bottom of the relay , you will see numbers . 85 an 86 this is the control side of the relay . B+ on 86 . 85 is from the engine computer , supply's a ground when the body control module sends a message on the CCD or PCI serial data communication network. Because when you turn that ignition key it is just an input to the BCM - body control module . Pin's 30 an 87 are on what is called the load side of the relay. If you take a piece of 10 gage wire an jump those to sockets the starter will crank . The first thing to do is to check for battery voltage at 30 an 86 sockets in the power distribution box.

If you don't know about these thing's I suggest you take it to a ASE certified repair shop. All aboard Chrysler PCI Bus

88 relient 2.5 engine starts then stalls starts then stalls etc.

sound like fuel issue, replace fuel filter, check fuel pressure should be 15 psi if fuel pressure okay the automatic speed control not working more likely.the ignition timing could be off also.if you see check engine code scan for fault codes.faulty egr valve cause engine to stall out.

Change a starter on a 86 crown vick

It is not a bad job to do. Unhook the battery and remove the cable from the starter. Then unbolt it. Two bolts with 1/2 inch heads

Where is te starter on a 1991 plymouth sundance what is it hooked

The starter is located on the bottom of the engine, where the engine and transmission meet. It is on the side of the engine closest to the front of the car. The easiest way to find it is to follow the positive battery cable, as it goes directly from the battery to the starter solenoid.

Change starter on 1987 plymouth sundance. Tools needed

a rachet with extension... i think the bolts will be 13 or 14 mm. unhook the battery first. there are two bolts holding the starter on. remove those two bolts and pull the starter. do NOT remove the wires till you have the replacement starter in hand. transfer the wires one at a time from the old starter to the new one. reinstall the starter with the two bolts and hook up the battery when it is done.... should start with no issues.

Installing a starter on a 1999 Plymouth

jack up the front of the van support it on jack stands blck the rear wheels it's better to do it on level ground:) disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the two starter bolts holdind the starter up be carefull when removing the starter as it can be a little heavy when dropping it down also make a note if there are any shims in between the starter and engine to replace them whren putting it back together. also make sure you note the wiring connections so the can be replaced in the same order they are removed. it's basically like a puzzle:) the starter is located right next to the transaxle good luck:)

How do you remove the starter from a 1999 Plymouth Breeze

On a 2.0 unhook the wires from the back of the starter then there are 2 bolts that go through the nose cone of the starter into the block, you remove those 2 bolts and the starter will fall out.
