Yup, mine too, especially when cold and under load going up a hill. Goes away in 5-10 minutes. Dealer can't figure it out ....

This is something definitely electronic, it affects the tach, and it sort of pulses.

My 2003 has the same problem, but only on deceleration/ coasting. Dealer said it was crankshaft, but new one did not improve the situation.

Another sight for sprinter parts mentioned that the rear frame mount for the transmission or cross bar support is week and causes the rumble. I think they had a brace that you can weld on it to reinforce it. I think the link below had it, ????

2004 dodge sprinter 3500 stumbles on acceleration . I think the fuel is bad because it has been sitting for 6-12 months . Should I drain the tank and replace the fuel filter?

good idea. not absolutely necessary to replace the filter unless you think that it's time anyway. if it gives off a strange smell at the tailpipe you can bet that you're right on with your diagnosis

There is a fuel leak in front of the motor from a fuel line that plugs into a wire down by the fiel filter what fuel line is it

if this is a diesel as never seen a merc sprinter as a petrol version then it could be the wire you refer to is the water in the fuel filter alert ,So i would assume that the pipes in and out of the fuel filter are leaking but without a closer examinatiion i couldnt really say ,either way it will need sorting out
