Fan motor intermit - Park Avenue Buick Cars & Trucks

I have a similar problem. The blower was intermittent for a few weeks working sometimes and not others. Once it did start, it would continue till the next time the car was started. NOw it won't run at all. The dealer tells me the most likely problem is the blower motor resistor located near the blower motor inside the passenger compartment behind the glove box (the glove drops down after clearing the two interference tabs that stop the doors travel when it['s fully open).

I'm about to look for the resistor myself. Hope that's it because it's the least expensive part. Good luck

Rear ac doesn't blow air

Power goes thru the rear blower relay, then the resistor and motor. The fan control switch provides the ground connection. I would check the rear blower relay if power is questioned at the blower motor.

1995 for explorer fan motor not working. Fuses good - was intermitant and now nothing.

You might check into a fan clutch,it engages the fan. It keeps it from free spinning.

There can also be one or more radiator fan relays.Depending on weather you have dual fans or not.

1999 Hyundai accent.the radiator fan is working intermitent.it suposse to turn on and off to keep normal temperature. but the fan dont turn on many ocasion geting motor hot. help Thanks

Spin the fan motor (when cold and engine off) and listen for bearing noises or quick stopping. Check the electrical wiring--especially the local grounding point. Check the fan fuse and relay for looseness in their sockets. Make sure the electrical connection at the thermal sensor is tight and free of corrosion. Hope this helps find your problem.

Auto ac is blowing intermitantly. bad blower/fan motor?

Go to an A/C repair shop and tell them that your "clutches" aren't acting right...then explain the fan issue...cheap $40-60

Blower fan not working

Most likely the blower motor is bad. Check connections first, if good try lightly tapping on the motor when is should run, if it starts then replace the motor..
