Many of these vehicles usualy have arking ignition coils and faulty plugs due to coils ( arking at porcelain) pull coils and remove boots then check spark plugs, posible leaking valve cover gasket if so clean spark plug holes from oil and debris before removing spark plugs or it all goes inside combustion chamber. related codes for misfire are po300-po304, crank position sensor could be a problem, if you have code present check engine control module connector ( ecm located on passenger front foot area under carpet) check connector for loose or corroded contacts.

Medium vibration coming from the front and through steering during braking from high speed.

2 things spring to mind. If stopping under heavy brakes ,the abs could be working giving you the impression of vibration But I am inclined to go with warped disc rotors. They give the impression of pulsations under you foot and will vibrate the steering to a degree. Check discs for condition ans check pads for lining thickness Anything under 1/4 of original thickness should be replaced

2007 Mazda CX-9 has recently developed a front end vibration under heavy acceleration. Vibration disappears if shift to neutral at highway speed, engine rev's smoothly in neutral. Suspect engine...

Try to rev the engine while at neutral if you get the same vibration to pinpoint if its from the engine or the drive shafts. If the issue occurs at a certain rev it may likely be the variable valve unit. Check if possible if you can get errors from the computer.

Article 96-26-21 is being republished in its entirety as part of a consolidated 7.3L diagnostic aid booklet.
ISSUE
Some vehicles with transmissions built prior to 11/13/95 (5L13) may exhibit a driveline resonance/vibration between 1400 and 2000 RPM with the torque convertor engaged. This may be caused by the torque converter.
ACTION
Prior to torque converter replacement, refer to the following Service Procedure for details to verify conditions.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Verify the resonance/vibration does not occur in neutral and is most noticeable between 1400 and 2000 RPM with the converter clutch engaged during medium to heavy throttle conditions. Also watch for the vibration to diminish at engine speeds lower than 1400 and higher than 2000 RPM. If the concern meets all of these conditions and the transmission has a built date prior to 11/13/95 (5L13), replace the torque converter. Refer to the appropriate Service Manual for removal and installation procedures.
2. If the vibration concerns do not meet the conditions, check for non-factory installed items that could affect driveline and verify proper installation. Also refer to the appropriate Service Manual, Section 05-00 for diagnosis and testing.

My 2005 nissian pick up is smoking and there is a heavy vibration of the entire truck what can i do to correct this problem

regarding vibration, this can be caused by a lot of things. some of which are broken engine supports and very low idle (below 700 rpm can cause a lot of shakes).

if your vehicle runs on diesel, have your fuel injectors cleaned and air filters replaced. then check if the smoke is still existing.

what color is your smoke?
1. white / light bluish in color - caused by water/coolant entering the combustion chamber.
2. black/gray/dark bluish color = caused by oil entering the combustion chmaber.

possible solutions for these are:
1. replace head gasket
2. replace valves/valve guides/valve seals
3. have a shop check your cylinder head for cracks or leaks.

Bad motor mounts? 1999 toyota sienna

The vibration may not be the mounts but the motor missing. What the motor with the hood open. Have your driver put the unit in gear and see how much things move touch the engine and feel the unit does the engine run smothly or does it need a tune up or vacume leak fixed. The exhaust system may be touching the car somewhere and it's transferring noise and vibration. Air conditioning lines and fuel lines can do it too. Is the check engine light on? Mixture problems can make the engine chuggle and vibrate more than normal. oxagen sensers can cause mixture ans can temperture senser lies. Even an opened too much therostate can make the system think that its cold and turn up the fuel till the motor shakes. fouling plugs and causing fuel ecomony problems and low performance problems.
