Question about 2002 Kia Sportage
After driving sometimes, when engine ideal, heavy vibration occured at the engine giving the impression that the combustion does not take place properly due to plug but at times the engine back to normal.
Please help thank you
Many of these vehicles usualy have arking ignition coils and faulty plugs due to coils ( arking at porcelain) pull coils and remove boots then check spark plugs, posible leaking valve cover gasket if so clean spark plug holes from oil and debris before removing spark plugs or it all goes inside combustion chamber. related codes for misfire are po300-po304, crank position sensor could be a problem, if you have code present check engine control module connector ( ecm located on passenger front foot area under carpet) check connector for loose or corroded contacts.
