Which makes a mockery of europeon anti poloution laws let alone californian controls .These middle east countries should be forced to introduce emmision control laws .

I have a 2005 2.7l stratus engine showing code p0175, can anyone tell me what this code is?

code p0175 refers to --system too rich bank 2. causes ---intake blocked---EVAP canister purge valve---fuel pressure---EGR system---injector/s HO2s The first thing I would replace is the o2 sensor in bank2 Use genuine only as the cpu settings may be different to cheapies.. check air filter and the purge valve.

fault codes stored in your car lead to check engine light on, you can get a code reader to clear it.elm327 can have a look, maybe can suit for your car.

99 lexus GS-400 P420, where is the O2 sensor? Need Pics not words

Below is a picture of the location of both O2 sensors for your vehicle. Also the last picture is your evap. system. In the "dotted lined" area I would check for rotten or lose hoses in that area as well the vapor pressure sensor could be faulty as well. Hope this helps.

Check engine light is on in my 2005 altima 2.5 got it scanned and the codes i got were P0335 /P0725/P0420 also car keeps stalling

po335 and 725 bad crank sensor and this is also reason for stalling.po 420 catalyst has lost efficiency....needs new catalytic converter ...covered under 8year 80000 mile emmisions warranty.

Check engine light is on, Code says P0420 catalyst effiency

So whats it doing is the rear sensor is not reading the correct information ,so test the rear O2 sensor or all of them is better with a automotive meter and find a garage that has an exhaust analyser then put the probe up the tailpipe and see what the emmisions are like

12 codes; 90174, p0171, p0175,p0300,p0301, p0302, p0303, p0316, p0420,p2195,p2196,92198 what does this mean

I would be very hesitant about just going in and replacing parts/sensors, especially those diagnosed from Electronic Control Module (ECM) Diagnostic Trouble codes (DTC's) alone, as quite often when multiple codes are present, they are often related to a songle malfunction/failure (Such as coil codes, and O2, rich/lean codes, etc...) - A p0171 and 0174 code is not indicative of a faulty MAF sensor - it is a code set when a lean condition is detected within the vehicle's exhaust...often caused by vacuum leaks, EGR valve malfunctions, BAC/IAC ( Bypass/Idle air control) valve malfunction, DPFE sensor malfunction, or the MAF "hot wire" is dirty, and can be cleaned with the correct cleaner, but instead of replacing a $250 MAF sensor; only to later find out that if you had the vehicle repaired by a trained technician, a $3 vacuum hose and a $50 ignition coil had initiated the multiple DTC's - So, sometimes it does pay to use a trained technician; especially with so many codes present - Like I said - If I were going to do the work myself, I would erase all the codes (Disconnect battery cable for about 10 mins - this will also erase the block/learn ECM settings and it may search for idle for a bit, but will straighten out with time - reconnect battery and start the car - then after the light re-illuminates, re-pull the codes, and most importantly test the sensors/parts indicated by the DTC's before replacing anything - that is if you want to fix it the most cost effective way possible, but, if you have plenty of money to waste you could always just go replace whatever the DTC's tell you is out of specifications, regardless of the cause...this might fix it, but may not as well - if you got lots of money and feel lucky it's the way to go - if not, test those parts and sensor before replacing them - there is a process for testing each of them....Thanks

Last night while driving home the engine emmision light came on, the engine seems to have rattling sound or a knocking sound, the car also seems to have lost some power,at 2 or 3 thousand revs im going...

you need to have the engine codes pulled and if you have a p0420 code you most likly have a bad cat. but i need to know the code stored in the computer.
