Did you remove the two retaining screws? need an impact hammer to get them off, then it should come off with a couple of taps.

Is it possible to remove and replace front wheel bearings with out a press

In order to remove the front wheel bearings without press hub off the bearing and then the bearing out of the knuckle. To do the first step need a a Support Bridge. It is a special tool. Make bridge and use a general bearing pulled kit to replace bearings. use a "Front Wheel Drive Bearing Removal Adapters Puller Pulley Tool Set Kit" .To replace the bearing, remove front CV shaft taking care not to move the CV shaft too far out .

What special tools are required to change the rear brakes of a 2002 mazda protege?

If it is a rear disc brake system, the only special tool would be an allen wrench:

Turn the manual adjustment gear counterclockwise with an Allen wrench to pull the caliper piston inward (turn until it stops).

If it is a drum type brake system...no special tools...just a screwdriver, pliers....

2006 Kia Spectra 5 rear brake disc replacement

you need a special tool avalable at most parts stores. its a disc brake piston turning tool. you have to rotate piston clockwise while pushing in on piston. you can fabricate something that enguages the slots and push and turn till all the way in.make sure to note position of slots and put them in same place as was before or the pin on the pads wont enguage the slot

So on my kia spectra 5 the throw put bearing locks

thats because that type of clutch is a pull type not a push type, to remove the trans first remove the slave cyl then the 14mm nut that holds the fork arm lever its on top of the arm, then remove the arm off of the shaft, now remove the trans, the hard part is reasembly.. because you have to install the release bearing on the trans and snap it into the preasure plate, thats a whole nother story.......

Rear brake shoes VW lupo 1 ltr

a special tool is required to turn and press the caliper piston at the same time this tool is quite expensive so i sugjest having the pads replaced proffesionally but if you have the time a patience you can try to press the piston in with some slip joint pliers or screw driver while you turn the piston clockwise/ counterclockwise (depending on side) with something else to screw it back into it's bore. best of luck. P.S. many manufacturers are using this style caliper piston now so if your a mr. fix it the special tool is worth buying.
