Ac compressor cluth is worn

Probably not a good idea as the drivebelt will wear out pretty fast. The belt may not have the proper grip to the pulley and will continually slip. Maybe the "cluth" is frozen and will not turn. Best to have an expert look closely at this.

I changed the ac belt and idler pulley but still have the squel when the ac is turned on

Squeal from a new belt/pulley isolates the problem to a loose belt.
Rule of thumb: in the longest span of the belt (between pulleys), you should be able to
deflect the belt by 3/8th inch by pressing on it.
This is easier with a drivebelt installation/tightening tool kit - available in the loan-a-tool
programs run by Advance Auto Parts and Autozone.

Squealing from the drivebelts area

Most likely cause is a worn or lose belt. Look at the inner surface of the belt, if it's shinny, replace it. If it looks OK make sure it's not slipping. Tighten the belt to keep it from slipping.

Belt Squeal

If you are using a proper belt lube and it still squeals, you should look for something like a dragging component such as an alternator or power steering pump that may be defective.
