Hi one of your door locks is faulty when your locking the doors one of them is not locking properly causing the others to open [this could be the lock on the door or its solenoid ] watch all your door locks when locking to see if any of them is struggling to close yates210456

2000 mazda millenia . the key wont come past accesory to lock so that you can remove it

There is a cam located on the linkage that gets out of poisition. U have to remove the center console cover and look on the right side of the shifter towards the front, it is located with a white plastic piece.

The tumblers have wore down and won't let the key turn. At this point you need to have the tumbler set replaced.

Alarm system

Just curious, do you have an entry system?
or does it open with a key?
What happens when you try to start the car?
Anyway, I probably would disconnect the battery,
wait a few minutes and reconnect it if nothing else works.
Another thought is try all the doors.
There could be one door causing the whole problem.
Good Luck,
Paul

Door won't lock and alarm keeps sounding

It's always a good Idea to check fuses first, as that is the easiest thing to fix.  I would suspect if its not a fuse it may be the door open sensor, if you open the door there should be a device in the door frame of the car where the door connects to the car door hinges.  If you push that sensor in with your finger it should turn off the interior lights.  It may be wiring to that sensor, or the sensor itself, also the sensor may have worn out to the point where it does not push in enough to activate the switch anymore.  good luck.

MAZDA mILLENIA 1997

Take some "electoclean" spray and hose down the key slot ( 4 bursts). Then spray the key and insert to work it around. My car did the same thing and it clears the beeping noise and allows the security system to engage.
