Possibly the starter motor. It is bolted at the rear of the engine to the gearbox. While trying to turn over the engine, get someone to strike it with a hammer or a block of wood that will reach it.Usually this will allow it to work again. If this works have it removed and repaired/replaced.Quite common for the brushes to wear out in them.If no luck, get a test light.Earth one end and the other probe into the little wire that goes onto a terminal on the starter motor solenoid.(be careful not to touch test light probe to the large lead end as it carries the battery current to the starter motor and will arc out
.When you turn the key to start it should light up the test light, indicating a faulty starter. If it doesn't light, recheck your ignition fuse again or the switch on your clutch pedal if it is a manual gearbox.
I hope this helps, get back to me with your findings.
