2004 RAV4 won't turn over, do I need a new battery?

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE BATTERY IS DEFECTIVE, LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE WILL TRIGGER THE ALARM SYSTEM. ANY AUTO PARTS STORE LIKE AUTOZONE AND OTHERS WILL TEST THE BATTERY FOR FREE.

Where is main fuse on 04 toyota rav4 located?

maybe in the under hood fuse box.also, there is a main fusible link block on firewall near battery. there should be a wire coming from the battery directly to it. (positive)

I have a 2004 toyota rav4.yesterday the vsc trac light and check engine light came on.the vehicle idles fine but when you depress the gas pedal there is alot of hesitation.

My solution is to get rid of this car immediately!! I had that happen to me. I had my mechanic check it and it was fine about 2 weeks later the car completely died because there is a defect with the 2004 Rav4 2.4l 4cyl. engine. Toyota never recalled this defect and now I am stuck with a car that is worth NOTHING. The top of the engine is put on with a metal/screw that is too soft. It separates and then antifreeze leaks out forcing the car to overheat. There is really no way to fix this besides dropping a new engine. I am stuck without a car and at a total loss. I will NEVER buy a Toyota again. Good luck!
