Engine diagram

I don't have a diagram but the starter always has a connection to the battery. Follow battery connections and you will find the starter. It is always on the opposite side of the engine that the belts are on.

Diagram to show where starter is located

The starter motor is located under the truck at the rear of the engine at the transmission bell housing, it has a large cable going to it from the battery and smaller wires to the solenoid. Sorry we do not have a diagram. You must access the starter from under the truck, you can't get at it from up top at all.

The starter is out i need the diagram to find it

Hello specialspank:: My name is Roger and I will help you. You did not say which motor was in your vehicle. It does not make much difference as the starter on the 3.0,3.3 and 3.8 are all in the same general location. You will find the starter on the side of the engine facing the radiator. Located at the rear of the block. The starter should bolt through the transmission bell housing. It sets in an area between the oil filter and the transmission. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. Thank You For using Fix Ya. Roger2844451.jpg
