- If you have the time and place yes you can. One thing to remember is that the whole dash has to come apart and the steering colum needs to come down. You will be saving some$$$$$$$ but is a big job if you want to go at it alone. - GuestOct 16, 2008
- 96 crown a/c and heat are the same temp. A friend at ford dealer told me it was blend door motor up inside dash to the tune of 500 dollars parts and labor. A big job as whole dash has to come out.- GuestOct 11, 2008
- once truck comes up to operating temp.a/c/ and heat are at the same temp..they say it's the blending door that needs to be replaced..were is it located and can i change it myself ??thanks, tony b.
