I had mice in my heater blower which is mounted under the instrument panel, near the glove box. Disconnect the electrical connector, then 3 screws and the blower will drop down. Clean out any foreign objects and spray with some disinfectant. Spray into any air chambers the fan fits into. After the blower is reinstalled turn it on and make certain it is running properly, then spray some disinfectant &/or air freshener into the air intake between the windshield and hood outside the car.

I have a 1997 jeep grand Cherokee limited addition. that Stalls

Hi! I had the exact same problem with my jeep before. The wiring (located on the back wall on passanger side to the left) You will see three sets of plugs with a lot of wires on them. I had to get everyone replaced and the wires rewired and sautered together. My truck would backfire so bad it busted my muffler 3 times!! So, try that and I think it will solve the problem.

Musty smell when a/c or heat turned on. How do I get rid of?

you can use disenfectant spray while the heater/ac is opperating on recirculating mode,or just place on highest heat mode, with fan on high and dry out the evaporator box-housing.for a few minutes. Before you exit the car. This should help ****** the mold-mildue smell.

My 1997 Jeep grand cherokee is running real rough when I accelerate. Now while driving it it keeps stopping but will start right back up? help???

check the cables of the spark plugs, some times it occurs that the cables get loose from its plastic retainers and touch any metal in the engine, causing missfire of the related spark plug, hence rough running of the engine. Put all cables on the retainers making sure none touches the bare metal of the engine. That should help.

There is a bad musky smell that comes out of vents.when i turn on.i thought it was my heater coil./evoprator? but i got heat? i want to get rid of that smell.

Under the cowl on the passenger side (where the hood and windshield meet) there may either be a cabin air filter or just a mesh screen. If it has a filter, then replace it as that's probably the cause. If it's a mesh screen, then most likely it's allowed stuff into the vent and has caused the drain on the vent to clog and is most likely the cause of the smell. I'm not sure where the actual drain will be on your car. You could also install a filter in place of the mesh screen as well.

97 Jeep Grand Cherokee only blows heat and ac out of dashboard

There is a vacuum leak under the hood. If it's a 6 cylinder, look on the drivers side for a vacuum line that runs vertical with a 90 degree angle fitting to the manifold. That one usually comes off. If it is a V8 look on the battery side for a broken or corroded vacuum line.
