Question about 2002 Chrysler Town & Country
As one who has owned four of these beasts because his wife likes to "Sit up High" I can sympathize. Make sure you have documented with the dealer that you have made several efforts to resolve the problem while hopefully, still under warranty. The main computer sometimes has an extended warranty that they may not tell you about and will cause such problems as you describe on an intermittent basis. My last one is up for sale and I hope I get it sold before the intermittent problems with rough idle, surging and lousy gas mileage return.
For those who have grown frustrated with the dealer, you can go to the regional rep and demand to be given satisfaction. Have your documents handy. I suspect Chrysler is cheaping out right now because of their money woes so they are not offering up the correct fix, which I suspect may be a new computer module. As for the battery problems some describe, I suspect that the charging system is the culprit. Take it to a parts store that will test the system for free. If they give you a sign that something is amiss, react to that accordingly.

So I posted the first message on here and as of now my van is still at the dealership. It has been a total of 2 weeks since we've last had it. Fortunately for us, we leased this vehicle so everything is under warranty, including the 4 times we had it towed, twice within a four day period. So now they tell us that they spoke with someone at HQ and we qualify for an entirely new radio system. They're removing and replacing modules one by one in the electrical system, then letting it sit overnight in the cold each time to see if it starts the following day. They'll replace the final one today and then test it again on monday and if all is good then we will finally get our van back. All along , though, they really weren't too sure what the problem was and say they think they narrowed it down to a specific area that could be causing the car to not be able to start. I'm just hoping this insn't a temporary fix. i have 2 small children that I really don't want to be stranded with out somewhere when the car doesn't start. I', just counting the days now until the lease is up next March. I will never purchase another van like this again. They tell us that the problem isn't widespread enough to initiate a recall. Obviously they haven't read all the complaints online.
