Do what i do and thats use a automotive meter ,first 12v permant supply then 12v from ignition switch ,and so on but be carefull not to use a supply for the autovolume but this is a 95 so it will not have any of these fancy devices ,the speaker wires are thinner and are coloured like say a blue and a blue with a stripe this will be one of the speaker wires ,black isnt always the earth so watch out for this and use the continuety test to determine the earth but the set will also earth out through the aerial though

I have a 95 gmc sierra 2500 and im trying to put in my aftermarket rafio so i cut the stock harness out the square puece that goes in back of stock radio and now i cant figure out what wire is what i got...

I would suggest you spice the wires back to stock harness by male and female connections and tape over them with black tape then get a stereo install kit that includes a wiring harness ( cost about $20 maybe or less) for the year of truck you have... it will plug right to your stock harness ...never just cut stock stereo wires from stock plug it will be more of a headache than you think trust me I've installed all my own stereo system been there done that... good luck

Color coded wiring diagram 1995 gmc sierra electric windows

Google the
wiring diagram 1995 gmc sierra electric windows I found several systems offering what you require.
But what is the problem, 99% of the time in that year the window regulator was at fault, it was made from a stapped steel housing verses an cast unit. We check the left switch for power, disconnect the two wire connector at the motor, and see if the motor has power to one side or the other in the connector. If the switch has power to it, and the motor has power to it as you press the button, the motor is at fault.

Good luck.

Installing an aftermarket stereo, spliced the wires and have everything connected including the remote wire to the factory amp wire but still no sound.

There is no remote wire on these newer trucks....03 and up....u have to buy the harness....although i didnt....i have an 03 gmc sierra and just pulled the schematic and matched the wires. And there is no programming to do on an aftermarket stereo.....I work for GMC and we cant program aftermarket stereos......if u buy the right harness ...and its over $100 then everything should work just fine.....and this does not disarm ur alarm system either....mine still works fine....hope this helps
