Question about 2002 Ford SVT Focus
Unfortunately they (the Ford Dealers) are the keepers of the codes.
What is happening is that your radio has a anti-theft feature to make it useless for someone to steal your radio. When you replaced your car battery your radio must have thought you were stealing it and disabled itself. The code they gave you must have been outdated as they get changed from time to time to stay ahead of the thieves.
Bottom line is that you will need to go to the dealer to get it rectified.
