Question about 1996 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
I replaced the break light sensor that sits right behind the break pedal. the part cost something like USD$18.00 and it took 3 minutes to replace.

.common failure was brake light switch,sometimes electrical connection damage cause by rat,specially in area on engine walling,,try to visual check,
