Question about 2003 Dodge Intrepid
I have a 2003 Dodge Intrepid. The check engine light is on but, of course no one can read it for us without paying $100 or more. We found that if you turn the key 3 times to on the code will pop up. We got a code of P0128. We have replaced the coolant temperature sensor, IAC valve, cam shaft sensor, and crank shaft sensor. If the car is cold it runs like a dream. Once the car gets warm and you slow down the idle drops and the car dies. We have a new thermostat to install but can't seem to find how to install it. It also has flickering dash lights when the headlights are turned on. The headlights don't flicker. Any help with these would great. We would really like to do it ourselves and save teh expense of taking it to the shop.
I had a similar issue with the same car and engine. I was getting error code P0108. My coolant was low, but the problem continued after I added fluid until I bleed the system. There is a coolant bleeder at the top and front of the engine. Let the car warm up and open this slowly open and let a half a cup of coolant to escape.
