It physically will fit and bolt up,but there are many different ratio, and drive and driven sprocket tooth counts, different final drive ratios, all monitored by the computer with electronic speed sensors. If the trans from the 95 has a different ratio than the 93,the computer will set gear ratio error codes, and possibly put the trans in a failsafe mode, stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear.On the transmission case, down by where the passenger side axle would go in,is a thin metallic tag, maybe 2"x 3",and it has bar codes, and also a series of numbers and letters. The numbers and letters, large cap,are the final drive gear ratio code. They should match on the two transmissions in question.

Yes,the sprockets and chain (if not stretched out) from the original can be changed over to the replacement,as well as the final drive ring gear, and carrier assembly ,but that's alot of work, and at that point, might as well rebuild the oirginal if going that far into the unit, unless the original is just completely. wiped out.One good thing about the 95 and 93 is the valvebody is the same,96 and up won't interchange.as in 96 GM went to a PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) setup that won't interchange back.Good luck.

It's a 14-year old car, if adding fluid doesn't help, you need to take it to a transmission shop.

1995 Olds Cutlass Supreme. My transmission is shot

Not sure exactly what you mean but the 4t60E comes with lots of different gear ratios. Just because a replacement one will bolt in doesn't mean it will work. If you are going to replace it, it needs to be the same gear ratio. If your car has a 3.1 I think the gear ratio is 3.33 and if its a 3.4 it is a 3.06

Olds 88 tranny fit a Cutlass?

As long as the tags on the trans have the same numbers yes, these transmisssions are electroniclly controlled and there are internal differences even though they may bolt up, there are ID tags on all transmissions sold by GM and installed on the production line.
