2001 Nissan Sentra A/C Blower Not working

The A/C fan stopped blowing. It worked this AM. After parking it all day in the garage, I tried to put on A/C but the blower did not blow when I switched it on. It did not get cool (or hot) so I am wondering if I have to replace a switch or a fuse or similar. Thanks!

I enjoyed the same problem on my 2001 Nissan Sentra three months after I moved to Florida from New England. It is not a fuse; the fan would not work at all if it was a fuse. Your problem is the fan motor resistor behind the glove box. The classic symptoms are that the fan will not operate except on 4 (full speed). You technically could replace it on your own but I took it to my Nissan dealer and had it replaced for under $100, parts, labour, tax, and coffee.

Well you can look to see if you need a fuse or if you are getting voltage to switch maybe change its your decision to do so if not trace the wireing to see if it isnt connected anywhere if all of that is good see if fan will run with it directly connected to battery

check wiring on fan and switch if you had them off. Sounds like you have ground wire mixed up with power wire.

I have a 2009 nissan sentra. when you turn on the heat it makes loud noises like a tank. took it in and they stated that leaves had gotten into the heater motor and that was not covered on warranty as it...

unfortunatelly i have seen this several times, where mice get inside of the heater assemblies and duck work and blower motor. it does happen more with cars that are in garages. in your case/nissan sentra, you have to remove dash board assembly to access blower motor. that is a poor design on nissan part. the fact that you have a mouse or chipmunk in there is not nissan defect. we had people actually call their insurance company to get it covered/repaired and they do it. i have seen whole chipmunk families inside the blower motor cage, with little ones still alive. good luck.

Good day!
electrical radiator fans typically have 2 speeds a high and a low. you may be having an issue with the high speed of the fan, that is why when you are not moving the temperature goes up!

99 Nissan Altima blower fan works only on highest setting (#4)

Resistor switch. The rotary switch on the dash is very, very uncommon. It is also not the blower, because it works.
