This typically indicates a malfunction in the abs quite commonly an abs sensor/a bearing hub assembly. The abs will not function in this but should not affect the vehicles ability to brake properly in normal conditions. Remember that in slippery or wet conditions the trac and abs will not work and would advise having the vehicle serviced to correct your issue.

Why Kia amanti 2004 the ligth for abc and brake on in dash board

It is NOT SAFE to drive your vehicle when the BRAKE and ABS lights are illuminated simultaneously.
I recommend that you have the vehicle TOWED to a repair facility for inspection, as you may find yourself with NO BRAKES, and UNABLE TO STOP.

Frm beginning of 2004 nissan maxima ABS problem to present want threw car wash ABS and Brake lites came on on the dash. checked rear sensors 1 worn so replaced sensor and hub assemble and did the recall...

can you do me a favor just unplug the abs module lead, and check that part first then get back to me on here. it is very rare that an abs sensor fails. its always down to the wiring plugs. and a car wash will throw the water in the engine bay, not like road water and any seal that are weak or cracked will be the first problem. plus engine dieing is a good sing the abs unit is not working at all. bad part is if the unit is not completely damaged. if the engine starts without the abs plugged in. but will not when its plugged in. can be a problem with the abs control unit board.

Trouble codes stabilitrack and trackion on dash board

Most likely its the throttle position sensor. Gm is having a fit with them on the 5.3 engines. What your seeing with the stabilitrac/traction control is common. Try this as a test. Take off the negative battery cable for about 2-3 minutes, let the ECM dump its memory, hook it up and try it. If it comes out of limp mode, its probably the sensor. Unfortunately, It likely will go back into limp-home after a short drive. GM has had a "campaign" on those, and was replacing them free for a while. Good Luck !

It's so much easier to hook up a scanner to read the ABS codes than trying to guess, the brake lite comes on when the fluid is low or your e-brake is on, only takes one click to activate the light.

Abs light comes on trackion light shuts off and while driving brake pedal goes to floor... what could this be causing this problem

If your ABS light is on then you will have to get the codes read to see what sensor is giving you the problem. The ABS light being on will also affect the traction control and brake pedal going to floor.Auto Zone will check codes but I`m not sure if they do ABS codes. They don`t charge so it wouldn`t hurt to ask. After you get the codes you can post back and I can help you find the problem.Good luck.

My abs light comes on and my trackion light shuts off and the pedal goes to the floor . Ihave new breaks and there is no problem , this is on a 2000 pontiac grand prix what could it be and is it safe to...

If the brake pedal goes to the floor with the car off, I would suspect air in the system or some other issue with the service brakes. If you feel and hear a growl in the pedal when it goes to the floor then your abs controller may be at fault. There are many possibilities. In either case if your pedal goes to the floor, then you are looking at a safety issue. Generally the service brake system (regular brake system) is the fault and not the abs. I have however seen a sticking dump valve or faulty wheel speed sensor cause an abs issue. Start with the basics first. Leaky wheel cylinders/ calipers, brake lines, or master cylinder. Verify the hydraulic integrity of the service brakes before tackling an abs issue.

No gauges, of any kind, and no fans

The Abs light and gauge problem is a cracked circuit board in the cluster. You need to replace the circuit board or install a used cluster. But if you do this, the dealer will have to program it before it will work. If you smack the side of the dash, the gauges should come back on.
