The fuse may have blown and fix the problem, but it is not the solution as theremust have been something that blew the fuse. Many people plug things such as inverters into the cig lighter which draw too much amperage. Just be aware of what yoi are plugging into yoir cigarette llighter. If the fuse blows right away after the plug it in...there is a short in the circuit somewhere. Good luck!
Hello. The brand of fuses is not important for a replacement but what is important is that the fuse be of the exact same amperage. Drive to any auto parts store and they will assist you in getting the correct fuses for your buick. Joe

From 2003-Buick-Rendezvous-Owners-Manual , this is Fuse 32 under the hood in the fuse box, the same fuse that controls the lighters is the
same one that powers the OBDII system, and Onstar as well.
I hope that
info helps someone else (remember comment and rated this).
Chances are the cigarette lighter fuse is also protecting another circuit, visually check each fuse, or check with your local parts store and see if they have a manual with the fuse. Also the lighter itself could be bad. Your local library may also have a manual shopwing which fuse it is. mcdevito75
