1993 seville automatic transmission V8 4.9 liter?

I own a 1993 Cadillac Seville V8 4.9 liter, I would like to know the model of my car? I bought it without any emblems, so im not sure sls,sts, or northstar?

Neither the 93 seville is just that it's the 4.9 liter before the northstar sts 4.6 came out in same year

1039 = (4.6L engine) loss of road sensing data.

1039 = (4.9L) engine) SSS (speed sensitive suspension)signal loss.

The 1039 code requires extensive diagnostic testing.

Need to replace serpentine belt and idler pulley for 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS and need diagram. It's not under hood on our car. We downloaded one diagram but it was not a match.

I had same issue. 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS serp diagrams not like my engine. Found that it is the same as 1993 Cadillac STS Northstar!
Try that, it worked for me. Good Luck.

Need to replace starter

You must unbolt the front engine mount,then raise the engine with a small jack.

Trans problem

Sounds like either your Transaxle has a problem (Would need to go to a transmission shop) , I assume it is Front Wheel Drive, or you need to check your CV Joints. If it is rear wheel drive check the U-Joint at the back of the transmission. If the joints are good you need to take the vehicle to a service shop and have the transmission repaired.

Problem with the ride control sensor.

No , the only criteria for the ALC ( automatic level control ) is the weight load added or removed. Hope this helps

It might be the fan relay switch. When the car gets warm check to see if the fan comes on.
