Power window problem '95 nissan maxima

None of my power windows work. I had a conversation with Guill last evening (if you can pull that up it might could save some time). Anyway, there might be a ground problem because I am getting power to each door using a basic tester. Apparently there is a control box under the glove box or inside front passenger kick plate. Can you please give me a rundown of the colors of the wires running to/from this box and which is the ground. Basically, how do I create a ground??? I don't care if it is done "right". I just want the windows to work
Thanks a bunch!! Nick S

driver side window and driver side rear window will roll down but will not roll back up using the master control switch. I can roll up the rear driver side window using the switch on the rear driver side door. They both roll down using the master control switch.

CHANGE THE ELECTRIC COIL AND OR JUST CUT THE WIRE THAT GOES TO THE ALARM AND OR PULL THE FUSE TO THE ALARM

Power window not working 1994 nissan maxima

First check the fuse, then the power window switch, then the power window motor. More than likely it's the power window switch.

Power Windows not working

I had the same problem with my 94 maxima. I bought a used power window switch and replaced it. Works like new. Took me about 5 minutes.

1990 maxima Drivers side window, will power down but won't go back up

Check the cable that lifts the window. If the cable is frayed or twisted and stuck the window will not work.

If this is the case the window regulator assembly must be replaced. It contains the bracked and cables that operate the window. It cost about $100.

I replaced all four on my 1990 maxima.

Power window problem

On my girlfriend's Civic, the same problem cropped up and it was the driver's door switch assembly. The power for all the windows is routed to the driver's door switches, and from there, out to the other doors (that's how the window lock on the driver's door is able to shut off the window power in the back doors). If your driver's door switch assembly has failed, you'd have no power to the windows, regardless of which switches you're trying to use. I'd suggest going to a salvage yard and finding a new driver's door switch assembly and swapping it into your car and see if that fixes it. It shouldn't run you more than $15 or so, and they're generally pretty easy to swap out - figure a few basic tools and maybe a half hour or 45 minutes of your time.
