The fuel guage is mounted with the fuel pump assembly. I don't think there is a fuse for that. The only fuse is for the fuel pump.

Check the fuse that covers the gas gauge. Also, the sending unit may have gone out and just happened to do it when you changed batteries.

Fuel gaige not working properly

If the fuel gauge isn't working properly then there is most likely a problem with the float in your gas tank. Take it to a mechanic and they will tell you the same thing.

1982 F150 where are the fuse. Gas gauge not working just quit.

The fuse box is located up under the dash on the drivers side. The power regulator that controls the gas gauge is located on the back of the instrument panel mounted to the flexable circuit board. There isnt really a single fuse that controls the gas gauge. My guess(only a guess) is that your gauge is broken.

1988 pathfinder no dash lights no revers lights no tail lights no gaiges

If they all stopped working at the same time then it is probably a fuse or possibly 2. Check your fuse panels in the dash and under the hood. The dash lights and gauges should be a fuse labeled instrument cluster or guages, it is probably blown. The other fuse to look for will be the tail light fuse. This is where I would begin.

Transmission wont switch gears and nothing in dash cluster works

this could be a relay or body control module as all things are controled electricaly in your van relays are under hood near front of engine ---did you check fuses first? relays next --even trans is controled electricaly
