The real beauty of this is that you can go home and go On-Line to the library and use this referance anytime, for FREE. All you nedd is your Library Card Number...again, ask your Librarian about this. Hope this help everyone...it took me a while to find out this simple fix to many problems.

My 2000 chevy was running great,m wife stopped it at work. when she went to start it the starter(hich was replace recently) turned oveer and over without drag, and I was getting gas to the carb. Battery is good, help.

The only place to get a correct one is from a GM dealer. If you have a friend that works at a dealership, the can print you one from a program called "SI". Hope this helps.

wheels, drums or rotors, the cover for the differential (You will need a drip pan)
remove the "pin" (usually a 5/15" or 8mm head) that secures the spider gear pin. Remove the long spider gear pin, as it should slide out without a lot of force.
Push both axles inward, and remove the left and right "c" clips that hold the axles in.
Note... if you have a limited slip, it may be a little different of a set up due to clutches in the differential.
