Question about 1999 Ford Ranger SuperCab
You must be certain that the tank is empty, the gauge is not always accurate. if it is empty, than the pick-up assembly in the tank is not sested properly or the intake part of the fuel pump is broken. It sounds like you should drop the fuel tank and inspect the fuel pump end of the system, just don't smoke while doing this.
