Headlight wont work due to wires

check on the back of the bulb . There should be 3 wires on 3 pins If there is a spare pin then I would say that is where it is supposed to be.

Removing headlamp

  • Place a piece of cardboard between the headlight and the bumper to protect your vehicle from getting scratched when you remove the headlight. Use masking tape to hold the cardboard in place.
  • 2 Remove the four screws that hold the headlight to the vehicle's frame. Pull the headlight away from the vehicle's frame so you have access to the back of the headlight.
  • 3 Locate the electrical connector block on the back of the headlight. Squeeze the sides of the block and pull it away from the headlight to access the bulb.
  • 4 Remove the bulb from the headlight. Push the bulb in, toward the connector block, and turn it until it releases. Push the new bulb into the block and turn it until it locks in place.
  • 5 Plug the electrical connector block back into the headlight and place the headlight back into the vehicle's frame. Secure the headlight with the screws. Remove the cardboard from the vehicle bumper.

Running lights don't turn on. indicator lamp flashes then goes out and headlights don't turn on

two things to consider here-has this car been in a front end collision and have you checked to see if the bulb in one light is burned out.wires for the light run across the front of the car and are easily damaged in a front end collision. also if a bulb is out you get this type of problem. It can be difficult to get top the bulbs. you need to remove screws just above the grille going into the core support and pull out on the grill/bumper cover to expose screws for the headlight then with the headlight loose pull it out a little and release the bulb. check the filament to see if it is broken
