- I have a 1999 chevy 4.3 L. I can start it and drive 40 miles then the oil pressure drops. I can turn the truck off thenstart it and it comes back for another 40 miles. I don't know why this is.- brettcrandalMar 31, 2009

- its a 1995 silverado 2500 think the oil pump is going guage drops then comes back up hearing a ticking noise from the motor think thats the lifters from lack of oil is the oil pump inside the oil pan? **** if it is dont really want to lift the motor and all that stuff- chevytyler91Best Solution

what year camaro? either way the hard part is getting to it its in the bottom rear of the oil pan, you will have to get the oil pan off by pulling the motor or suspending it in air off motor mounts, when thats done its 1 or 2 bolts, depending on year and engine
