Question about 1995 Honda Accord

Lost Manual Hi, I know this may sound hard to believe, but I need to put down my back seats to carry a large carton but have never done so since I got the car and cannot find the manual. Can anyone tell me how to do this as I have tried to do so without success. regards Nick

Use the ignition key to unlock it first. The slot is in the back window area. Then open the trunk and underneath the window area there is a black pull cord. Pull this and the seat will release.

Does anyone know what would happen if you put 8qts too much in a car? Please answer

Did you hear the joke about the feller who hails a cab, and asks the cabbie :

" Is it OK if I put a carton of beer on the back seat?"

"Sure", says the cabbie "go ahead".

"Good", says the passenger, and throws up all over the seat.

So, SW, 8 qts of what? Beer? Fuel? Oil?

I have 95 jeep wrangler and it just started to rattle under the passenger seat I did research and I believe is the heat shield above the muffler came loose how would I be able to put the plate back up??

Often times I just unscrew large stainless steel hose clamps and connect them together to make a GIANT clamp that goes around the muffler or CAT. Sometimes it takes two large clamp assemblies, one at the front and one at the rear to quiten down a heat shield.

Hope this helps,

I have a 1998 Chevy Malibu 4 cylinder. I started my car and it sounded fine. When I put in drive the sound changed to a glubbing sound and it shut off. It sounds horrible and doesn't want to go over 35...

You should ascertain the internal condition of the engine first, by having a compression test done, or, even better, a leak-down test. If all cylinders have good compression (a leak-down test will pinpoint where compression is being lost, like worn rings or valve seating problems, and the severity of the loss), then you know you have a healthy engine and can put money into parts. Any serious problems will probably be found with this test. It sounds like your car needs serious attention.
Good luck.

Rear seat won't fold down (60 part of 60/40 seat)

I had the same problem on my '03. The seats would not fold down using the latch release as I had always done. So I tried a combination of pulling up on the side latch AND the top latch and the seat folded down. It really doesn't FIX the problem but circumvents offending  defective part. I will use this method until it doesn't work then I might shell out the $$$$$ to the dealer.
