Acura 2004 will not start, lights do not go on. Battery new

If you thought it was the battery, I'm guessing that what you mean is sometimes it will spin the engine and start, while other times it will not spin the engine at all. If this is the problem, I would suspect the starter solenoid, starter or starter relay is failing. The solenoid is most likely.

Somehow it is effecting the TPS (Throttle position sensor) This is the only input to go to third to fouth and not seeing the proper gear change VSA light appears.

Sounds like a bad battery connection(s) or starter motor connection. Contacts must be squeaky clean since you are dealing with low voltage

It has to be done with a scan tool or a code reader

Have battery tested..if original battery then definitly replace

do a tune up. replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, pcv valve, clean up the throttle body plates, clean the mass air flow sensor that comes from the throttle body to the air filter assembly. Check your positive and negative battery cables. Make sure the cables are clean and tight on the battery and the grounds and also the starter relay on the starter as well.

Timing belt!

check the main power relay first.or the starter relay.
