If your sure all the bolts are removed, tap the pan sideways with a rubber mallet.

Does the motor mounts have to be seperated to change the rearmain seal and oil pan gasket?

Hi Brian:
Don't know what you're working on, but my personal preference is to do the job right so if I was to have a project that I cared about, I'd pull the motor and do a real once over before it got re-installed.

Sometimes you can remove the pan with the engine in, but it's way nicer to do with the engine out and upside down on a stand.

Remove a 2005 cr-v honda oil pan

Remove all bolts in the pan assembly. You may need to remove other objects that may obstruct the removal of the oil pan bolts. It would be a good idea to have the oil drained prior to pan removal. The oil pan uses a special RTV sealant instead of a gasket and can be a pain to seperate from the engine block. Use a soft faced hammer and strike the sides of the oil pan until it begins to loosen from the block. You can then use a screwdriver/prybar to seperate the seal and have the pan come off

98blazer oil cool line blew possibley siezed... Oil isnt reaching pan why

If oil cooler line seperated it would have pumped all the oil out very quickly. If the engine does not turn over orif it starts and is noisy chances are the motor will need to be replaced

Have a oil leak on oil pan on my f350,got the oil pan lose, but cant get the oil pan out, trans is in the way, do i loosen the trans or motor mount on engine

Remove the motor mount bolts and raise the engine slowly. Don't dent the oil pan when raising the engine! After the engine is raised, you should have enough clearance to remove the pan.

I cant find the automatic transmission fluid drain screw it's not on the pan

there is none
you must unbolt the pan
leave the front bolt back up a few turn and remove all others
place a fair size oil drain pan under and seperate then push pan back
on and removed remaining bolt it can get messy take your time and
dont do this on a hot transmission you can get burnt

Oil pan removal?

Im not sure if you are talking about the motor pan or the tranny pan. But I have lifted the motor and tranny together on a vehicle to change the motor pan and mounts before. I remember having to loosen the fan shroud. Undo linkage on the tranny and make sure the shifter boots were loose. The key for me was going real slow with the crane and having extra eyes around. It was a pain but it worked out.

Oil pan stuck

If this is a 4WD it is easiest to remove the front differential an the pan will drop right down.
