no power or no ground ??
try running a hot line to the motor
run a pair of wires from the batterie 1 pos 1 neg speaker wire will do
unplug the window motor and run it direct pos on 1 wire neg on the other flip the wires to change motor direction
if motor works then it's eithor a bad ground or a bad wire or a bad reley
The knock sensor is located inside the cylinder block, on the inner side of the cylinders. You have to remove the cylinder heads to see it. In a word, this is a very difficult undertaking.
you could subcribe to alldata.com it will cost you around $24 for the whole year it gives you unlimited access to your car data this includes drivetrain, electrical and body hardware too.
follow the bottom radiator hose. the end covers the thermostat. which also covers part of the w/p housing. a ***** to remove. ie..... jack up motor , removal of timing belt pulleys etc.
It's likely either the regulator is failing, or the window has come off its guides - either condition will cause what you're hearing/seeing/feeling. The regulator/motor/lift assembly can be removed from inside the door, but it can be a pain and requires you to experiment to find the best way to do it. At a junkyard, those lifts and regulators are rarely more than $10 or so - I'd go that route. Also, by pulling the part yourself, you learn the way to do it, and if you make a mistake, you're not messing up your own truck - better to learn on a junked vehicle in this case:)
