Jeep will not start, spark, or no gas

No spark no gas pressure no start

Have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport, have recently replaced gas tank, fuel pump, fuel filter and all lines but it will not hold pressure in the line. I have visual inspected the exterior lines for cracks or leakeage and find none. I will re-pull the fuel pump once the gas tank gets down to 3/4. Starts fine then it becomes starved for gas and loses power. It seems to definetly be a pressure problem in the fuel line to the injectors are there any tests etc I can do to see if it holds appropriate pressure?

    Thanks

My 96 Cherokee Country has fuel issues as well. However, if its running, it will hold pressure. It just seems to have trouble keeping pressure in the fuel rail after its been sitting for awhile. Maybe the fuel pressure regulator solenoid needs to be replaced. (that one helps the pressure in the rail) just a thought.

My jeep liberty wonts to start but it wont whats wrong with it

an internal combustion engine needs three conditions present to run. These conditions are compression, ignition, and fuel. A diagnosis of the no start condition involves hunting for these conditions to verify their presence.

Your jeep may be out of gas. The fuel system may be full of stale or watery gas. The fuel pump may have died or the filter or injectors may be clogged. These malfunctions will stop the fuel from reaching the cylinders.

Your jeep may not be getting spark. You may have fouled spark plugs or bad plug wires. Then again, you may have a bad sensor causing no spark.

You may have engine damage. A bad head gasket, fried piston rings, or burnt and bent valves may be killing your compression.

2006 liberty cranks but wont start

gas engine, not diesel.
its probably flooding, ever give it a 60k mile tune up, ever?
we check spark tips for flooding and dry, never do we guess at fuel pumps, ever. (pressure gauge is $20)
tips dry or soaking wet.
we check for spark , no gas engine car runs with no spark
so we check all cylinders for good spark
if spark is good and flooding (new spark plugs) we use
cranking wide open throttle wot. like the operators guide says.
start now? this cuts all injection, this magic PCM trick.

see scotty ,
1: compresson at spec, 2: spark good and timed. and 3: fueling last.

skip the silly ad.
note he says 2, but he ASSUMES compression is good. (oops)
but his tests are fast, and if it fails to start, see #1 above. ask

Won't start 1990 jeep cherokee laredo

Technically if the engine has compression, is getting spark at the right time and fuel, it should start.
Have you checked the spark plugs to see if they are fuel or oil fouled ?
Are you getting spark at the plugs or at the coil ?
Have you tried using carb cleaner or starting fluid in the throttle body ??
Have you checked fuel pressure to see if you are getting enough fuel to the injectors ?

Did an oil change, filled gas tank, put in GUMOUT, 1999 Jeep GC

If you put a fuel cleaner additive in the tank I would change the fuel filter. I believe on this model it is located in the frame just ahead of the fuel tank on the drivers side. Any foreign material cut loose from inside the tank from the cleaner often clogs the filter.

I have a 2000 jeep cherokee with the electronic ignition. It will crank but will not start. I have gas pressure. But dont know how to check for spark since It has the electronic ignition. Any help?

the best thing to do first is to find out if its spark or fuel problem.
spray some starter fuel into the intake system and see if the engine starts if not then there will be no spark.
check fuses in fuse box for any burt fuses.

check the fuel pump fuse/relay, could be just bad enough to cause an intermittent start/no start. and check fuel pressure, spark and the crank position sensor.

JEEP GRND CHEROKEE RUNS ROUGH

I think you need to start with the basics as there could be numerous reasons to this. Start by checking fuel pressure, engine cylinder compession and make sure that each spark plug is sparking. You did not mention which engine is you have.
