The S light is your for your Sport mode. See button on the side of your shifter. This is explained in the manual.

The S light is supposed to be either on or off depending on whether the button is pushed in or not. It is not supposed to blink on and off constantly . What does it mean if it does blink. Also the button will not stay pushed in like it's supposed to if you push it in.
