I have a 1996 jeep cherokee sport and the turn signals aren't working. We found where the fuse is and goes but there are no prongs in the socket to hold the fuse in. What can we do to fix this problem?

Probably not the fuses. Check all the bulbs, both turn and stop. One other thing, is there a trailer hitch plug in in the back bumper? Check inside the cover for corrosion and or dirt.

1987 Jeep Wagoneer Tail Lights out, Brake lights work.

hello, sounds like something is unpluged, dash lights have small bulbs in the basils, they do not normally blow, do you have the wright tail light bulbs in , they are not all the same, i would check them first, if you had to , you could run a jumper wire from your parking light in front to the rear tailights, just the running light only, there is two or three wires that run to tailights, you might could try that, friend of mine has done that,

'87 Cherokee no horn, turn signals, brake lights, wipers, blower

Pull the fuses and check the socket for power on the things that don't work. If there is no power at the fuse box there is a good change the stater igintion switch is toast. it is located on top of the steering colunm under the dash.usally less then 20 bucks All that you mentioned get power from this switch that goes to the fuse panel when you turn the key on

Sounds like your brake light switch needs to be replaced.  It is attached to the brake pedal and should cost you around $20 from an auto parts store.  If the fuses and bulbs are good there is a 99% chance it is the brake light switch.  Hope this helps!  Thanks for an honest rating and for using FixYa.

Rear Brake Lights not working, 3rd light is working

check the fuse for the stoplights. Even though the 3rd one is working it should be on a different fuse. With both of them not working even after you changed the bulb it would seem to lead to a fuse.
