My service engine soon light came on a few days ago, the car is running fine as far as I can tell, its a 1996 Dodge Caravan, I had the car serviced about a month and a half ago, and everything checked out fine, what would be my next step?

Service Engine Soon came back on and the car is again stalling ????? Did you have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's ? Service engine soon light on , codes will be present !
Take it to Advance Auto Parts, or Auto Zone, they will scan your computer for free to get the code and tell you what it means. May just be a sensor, or the gas cap isn't tight (emissions) may or may not be serious. Thanks.
A few days, but you need to have the check engine light checked. It can cause bigger damage depending on what is wrong.
Don't drive for to long like that.
It comes on when the key is turned on to show it works, then it goes out as soon as the engine is started, it has a fuse, that will be marked, if the fuse is ok then you may have either a bad connection at the cluster connector or a bad ECM
