Hi..an oil change is very important for the life of your motor if the dealer is too busy you can use a good &recognized shop and use the factory recomended oil and filters to protect your waranty..

Depends on how far out it is. if you've done regulaar maintenance, a few hundred miles shouldn't hurt

open the glove box
take out operators guide, read the words there on light.
see that?
who change the oil, you , jiphphboobs or ASE shop, or dealer.?
if you or jiffy did, then they forgot to turn off the oil change nag.
the book tells you what to do, read it
or get one for free, at Suzuki
or pay $4 here

down load it, and put it back on the glove box.

2007 buick lucerne fuse for dash warning beep

If you are driving with a faulty oil pressure switch then how do you know when there is no oil pressure. Switching of the alarm will not fix the problem and oil pressure sender units are available at ant auto parts shop or dealer spares. Why wait a week when the job can be done in 10 minutes by any mechanic.

Had my 2005 Honda Civic in for oil change and 25 point maintenace inspection at the dealer back in Sept 2010 because "maintenance light" on. It is now Nov 10 and "maintenace light" is...

I would never go to a dealer for anything, you just throw away money

I would go down the street to a local repair shop, and have it checked out, for a possible system failure or the reason you have the maint light on

I also never go more than 24 hours, ever, when I have any check lights on,without starting to diagnose the issues, then continue on until I resolve them. Sometimes that takes weeks to find and solve

How do you reset the service engine light on a 2006 525i

In 2006 BMW developed what they Condition Based Service (CBS), this means even when you change the oil and filter, the only way to reset the service indicator is to take it to the dealer, to be hooked up to thier computer. I have the same problem, I am waiting for some aftermaket code breaker to be developed to fix this problem. Hope this helps, let me know.

2006 Civic Hybrid 85K miles with engine light on

Take it to a autozone and have them pull the codes and tell you what is happening, it is most likely a 02 sensor not functioning properly. But have the codes pulled right away, andthey can tell you what it might be then post the codes here then we can tell you if you should wait or not. better safe than sorry. If you drive it and it brakes and you knew the light was on and di not get it checked right away you could void the warrenty.

Broken steering wheel on 1995 buick riviera

I am assuming that you have a broken tilt bracket in your steering column. I just changed one Last Friday. You will need a few special tools (steering wheel puller, steering shaft spring compressor and a pivot pin removal tool. You can rent some of these. You will also need a 1/4" drive ratchet with extension and female torx bits. Look up on line or buy a book to take you through the process. Remember to disconnect the battery and wait for 10 minutes before beginning. This will keep the air bag from giving you a 200 mile per hour surprise. I bought a set of dealer manuals for 35.00 on Ebay last week to guide me. It will take you about 3 hours at least. This narrative should help you to decide if this is something you want to do at least.

I just bougt a BMW 630 teher is no manual book in

my '06 325i, has been serviced (oil changed) by the dealer every 17,000 miles, it runs a full synthetic oil. look at your tun signal switch there should be a small knob in it that rotates, rotate it up and look at the center dash, keep rotating until it says oil then push the switch in the end of the turn signal switch it should then show you how many miles till next oil change, all service info can be found in this manner, when some kind of service is due you will see a small triangle with and exclamation point (!) in it on the center display, if you have a navi system the bottom of the screen will say "Service Due!"
