2001 Taurus SES - 3.0L EFI DOHC3.0L EFI DOHC
Wife went out to go to work and started the car. While it was idling in the dirve way it died. Immediately restarted and tach went to about 1500 RPM. After a few seconds the tach dropp ed to about 1000 and then about 750. Another few seconds it died again. I immediately restarted and drove around. It died when I came to a halt at a stop sign but immediately restarted. Any ideas? Thanks
Check your fuel delivery components,(filterers, sensors, etc.) or your electronic ignition components.
