How hard is it to change the wheel bearings - 1993 Chrysler Town & Country

Try this.
Jack the car up and rest it on axle stands. You will be shaking the car so you will need it to be safe.
To test a wheel bearing. with the wheel off the ground, grab the wheel top and bottom. Rock it hard back and forward. Then grab the wheel at left and right. Again rock the wheel left and right. If it feels solid it's not likely to be the wheel bearing.
For the CV joint, lower the car and find a large, safe open area to drive in. Turn the steering hard left and drive at about 30mph in a tight circle. Do the same to the right. A CV joint will give a constant "clonk, clonk' noise.
A wheel bearing will make noise that isn't affected by steering but will change with speed. A grumbling, whine noise.
Worn CV joints only make noise at a full hard turn. All the way left / right with a little bit of speed.

Check CV joints...also don't overlook the transmission fluid...hard to find the dipstick on your G/P...check your owners manual, Hope this helps. Also...did you do both sides wheel bearings? Easy to miss, and still may be bad new wheel bearing:(

The most you'll need is a big hammer or a air hammer to loosen the bearing from the spindle but just like changing a front bearing

Yes, a bad wheel bearing will hum and is a common problem, you will hear the hum increase as the wheel speed increases, try jacking the truck up and see if any of the front wheels are loose. sometimes the wheel will get loose as the bearing is going bad but not always, these are not too hard to change as its a bearing hub asm, it bolts on and no pressing of the bearing is needed, good luck.

Front wheel drive! Pull rear tire and the brakes shoes or disk need to be removed. There will be a plate bolted in the the rear hub which does hold the bearing and seal in place. Remove the plate. Now the bearing is pressed in the hub race. May need a bearing puller. Once out, replace with new seal. Take your time installing the bearing, Its very tight and could damage it by tapping too hard to get it in. Just reverse
procedure to complete. It's a hard job - You may want to call around and get estimates for the repair. May be well worth it - Good luck

each wheel is equipped with a speed sensor in each wheel bearing. so the only way to adjust or replace is to replace wheel bearing.

THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING IS NOT THAT HARD BUT IT WILL COST ABOUT $145 ON THE HIGH SIDE AND YES YOU CAN GET IT FROM JUST AN AUTO PART STORE

Not sure on the price but, NO DO NOT DRIVE ON BAD BEARINGS.
