Question about 2004 Volkswagen Golf
I have a golf 1.4i that is giving me grey heairs it starts jerking when it gets hot and looks like the rev counter has got a mind of its own, changed the distributor, spark plugs, and feul filter bogi cords, and coil unit and still the problem is there, any know what it might be ?
It might be a bad fuel pump or even worse a worn catalytic converter if you have been carrying heavy loads and givin the car sox tryin to move it you could have worn it out and the heat (carbon monoxide goes back into the engine and chokes it up its not as if the car isn't getting enough fuel its not getting enough oxygen.
maybe you should buy a high performance cat.
and im not advocating racing but a good tear down to wexford and back up should keep carbon deposits from building up!
