Question about Nissan 300ZX
GUYS i HAVE HE SAME PROBLEM, when the motor warms up after about 15 minuts of driving the check engine comes on and off and the acceleration and smell of gas appears the problem disapears after you get above 3000 rpm then he engine light goes off and normal acceleration returns until you go below 3000 rpm or stop at a light. any help would be appreciated.

Let's start this with the assumption that you have a problem with one of your cylinders and its firing. With the engine idling, disconnect each coil pack, one at a time, and watch for any change in the way the engine runs (plug each one back in before you unplug the next). If it gets worse when a coil is unplugged, then that cylinder was running fine and isn't the problem. If you unplug one, and there's no change in the way the engine runs, you've found the problem cylinder. Try that out and post the results and we'll go from there.
Did you verify that the new spark plugs are gapped correctly? They don't always come pre-gapped and may need to have the gap set before installation. Also, do you have black smoke coming out the tailpipes? If so, that is an indication that the car is running rich, which would likely be the oxygen sensor on whichever side you see smoke from.
