Question about Chevrolet Cavalier
Sounds like your alternator is not giving out the correct voltage or isnt giving out any voltage. computers need the correct voltage to work properly. if your alternator is bad and your battery gets drained then that could make the computer give funny codes and make it run rough. the simple test is to unplug your positive battery cable after you start the car and see if the car still runs. if it does then the alternator is working. if you have a volt meter you can make sure that the alternator is giving out between 12 and 15 volts.
