What are the specifications for a fan belt for grand jeep Cherokee 2.7 L diesel [ ie ; lenght thickness every spec ; ]

the only way to find that answer is to buy one and see what part number is on that belt. (non jeep belts )
buy a Gates or Gatorbelt.
then go to gates, dot com (or as what you bought), and read the spec on that belt.
bingo, every time.

not sure why you ask this, so can't really help. at all.
why is the key to facts.....
or buy one and measure yours?
2 ways.

the FSM does not cover this spec. at all.
it only shows using a jeep belt.

lost yours ?
or installed non stock parts to front of engine,

I fouled up the timing on my 1990 Subaru Legacy Wagon. Tried resetting it to the factory specs but it still wont start.

You have not set it to the factory spec, and its probably 180 degrees off. Rotate the crank to top dead center (the mark on the crank toothed pulley, align the cam timing marks, refit the belt THEN release the tensioner. Rotate the engine manually to verify that all the timing marks realign themselves.

Need the specs for setting the timing chain on 1990 Honda accord.

Hey, I just posted the complete procedure for replacing a timing belt, what specs are you looking for? The belt tension is spring preloaded...nothin' to adjust.

1998 Explorer: how do i fix the timing belt...

Remove your radiator, water pump, and anything else blocking the front of the engine. remove the timing belt cover and there is the belt. The best advice I can give on exact specs is to purchase a Haynes manual. It will give exact specs on lining up timing marks, resetting the timing, and torque specs of all things involved

I need the engine timing and the crank pulley torque specs.

Once you align the top and bottom timing marks, and install the belt and tight the belt tensioner, you are done, there is no distributor to adjust ignition timing, it is computer controlled. The torque for the crankshaft bolt is 80 foot pounds. Hope this helps, let me know.
