Question about 2003 Ford E150
Van has been in the shop for 5 days...mechanics can't find what is
causing this. spark plugs and wiring changed. it seems to hesitate upon
exceleration. hooked up to diagnostics and could not find any
The problem you have is carbon built up that clogging the fuel injector. carbon built up is dust inside the plastic value cover on top of motor. to fix problem remove plastic value cover top and get a air compressor and blow out each injector and you see dust come out. Install new gasket inside the plastic value body, you can get the gasket at your ford dealer. I have a 2003 e150.

Might or might not has something to do with the cruise control. I was made to understand that there was a recall by Ford on a number of models including some of the the E150s.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
