Question about 2005 Chevrolet Malibu
Jayson, it seems as though your compressor is siezed, the engine is shaking and slowing down because of the load placed on the serpentine belt due to the a/c compressor not moving.

Bring it into your nearest Chev Dealer of shop Its sounds like there is a leak in the system and it need to be checked by a Service Tech, You can buy a can of R134a and Charge it your self but 134 Never just evaporates from the system It always leaks out of a five dollar seal..
