Question about 1992 Chevrolet K1500
Need the computer codes for my truck it is flashing a code 12 and I need to know what it stands for. the truck is a chevy k1500series excab 4x4 theresa
According to what I've read, a code 12 on your vehicle is the "all clear" code. I haven't found any information to indicate otherwise. What was said is that if you had a pair of fail codes, for example - let's use 15 and 34 for argument's sake - when you scanned the computer, you'd see 15, 34, 12, and then they'd repeat. The 12 was an indicator at that point that you had seen all the codes that were stored, and that they would now begin to repeat. If you have no codes stored, you'd see 12 and that's it.
