Question about 1994 Ford Ranger Supercab

1 Answer

94 raNGER 2.3

My alternator on my 94 ranger 2.3 w/ac locked up, so I replaced it with the alternator off my old 98 ranger w/ac, I noticed the 3 relays in the engine compartment fuse holder were very very hot, did I over power the system by installing a larger alternator.
Let me Know
Thanx Pierre

94 ranger will a 98 30 motorfit in a 94 30 ranger

It will fit... (but)
Fitting it can be easy or not so easy...

If your replacing a V6 w/ a V6 its a-lot easier.
If your replacing an auto trans setup w/ an auto trans its a-lot easier.
Make sure you use new mounts (and the right ones).

Can't find wiper relay on 94 ranger

Wipers do not require a relay. If your wipers are not functioning and a fuse is blown, the washer will not work either. If the washer works, check the wiper switch or the wiper motor, but wiper motors are normally very reliable.
