thanks automaster, i got them off. after reading your 1st post i remembered i had a 3 lb. hammer that i needed to put a handle on. once i did that, i used it on the rotors and after 3 or 4 pops they came right off. thanks again!thanks automaster, i got them off. after reading your 1st post i remembered i had a 3 lb. hammer that i needed to put a handle on. once i did that, i used it on the rotors and after 3 or 4 pops they came right off. thanks again!

use a heavier hammer, dont worry theres hardly nothing you can break as long as you hammer on only the rotors, and no there are nohidden clips or screws. some wd40 would make it easier, to ease the errosion...use a heavier hammer, dont worry theres hardly nothing you can break as long as you hammer on only the rotors, and no there are nohidden clips or screws. some wd40 would make it easier, to ease the errosion...

Have the brakes inspected. When the lining has been used up, the metal of the pads or shoes against the rotor or drum sounds like grinding inside the vehicle.
there is a parkingbrake inside the hub of the rotor try hitting the hub with a hammer as hard as you can swing a couple of times without hitting the wheelstuds there may also be clips on at least 2 studs if the rotors havent been off remove these clips dont worry if you break them you wont need them the rotor should come off
There might be a start washer on one of the wheel studs that hold the rotor in place, If not. A good hit from a hammer will break the rotor free from the wheel hub, chances are there being held on by corrosion. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted, be glad to help.
